Carbonated Cake UPDATE

We loved the carbonated cake so much that we decided to make it again but instead of Fresca we used Diet Coke. You can't taste the Coke at all! So moist and sooo delicious. Unfortunately we don't have a picture because everyone ate it so quickly!! :)

Try it and you won't regret it....we promise

Chicken Stir Fry

Love Asian food?? We do!...but not the grease and high calorie count. Stir fry is an easy, delicious way to eat and a cheaper, healthier alternative to eating out.

Ingredients:
Chicken
Rice
Red Pepper
Snow Peas
Mushrooms
Onions
Olive Oil
Soy Sauce
Honey

There is no exact recipe which is the fun...its a little different every time! Cook the chicken and rice separately then add to the vegetables. Start with a little olive oil to caramelize the onions, then add the mushrooms (they usually take a little longer to cook), next throw everything else in the pan (red pepper & snow peas). Once it is all together put in the chicken already cut into small pieces and add some soy sauce (amount to your liking) and a tablespoon of honey for flavor.Put it on top of some rice and presto! an easy, healthy meal in only 20mins.

Happy Dining :)

Carbonated Cake!

Before a weekend of parties and consuming excess amounts of calories, snack on something delicious and low in calories. Our first dish is the two ingredient cake. Thanks to inspiration from Hungry Girl (http://www.hungry-girl.com/askhg/show/1624) all you need is a 12 fl. oz can of soda of your choice and a box of cake mix. We are trying out a Classic Yellow cake with Fresca.

This is very easy to make and reduces the amount of calories and fat in the cake; making it a much healthier snack tha
n chips and dip or a bowl of ice cream.

Almost ready :)
And it's delicious...well at least Brittany (our roommate) thinks so!
